Do what I do when I have a crappy customer? Put them on hold or just say "May I please put you on hold?" then pick up a stereo and press play (make sure it is really shitty music) while totally ignoring her then press pause and say " Can you please hold a little longer? Your business is very important to us." then press play again. tongue

You do take way too much in your stride, re.
Something like that happened to me once when I first started my job in London and at the end of the day some guy said he wanted to buy something as I was closing the doors. So I let him in, figuring my boss was like all my other bosses: "A sale is a sale."
My boss saw me do it and went "Hang on... what are you doing? No way, sorry mate, we're closed. You'll have to come back tomorrow." I was just thinking "OMG I love this place!"

I've had similar experiences with rude customers, too, and I became very accustomed to saying things along the lines of: "I've been respectful and polite with you, but you've failed to reciprocate. This store is happy to forgo business from someone who treats its staff that way (I never checked if that was true or not). You'll need to go elsewhere in the future if you continue to behave this way."

They shut the fuck up and forced a smile every time.

(except this one guy -- I told him he was absurd and he became quite angry)

I think I want to because ... other people have? Not sure really, just cause it'd probably be a really cool experience. I'm not talking like take up the habit style injection, no way, no injecting for this little black duck, just like making a bored Sunday into a life changing Sunday you know? That's the way my new blogs gonna be, right out there, in your face, not afraid to go there type a stuff YEAH smile

You guys need to come to my place - as your "heat retreat" tongue I think the bf this weekend will be setting it to freazing - I end up walking round in winter clothing.

We have been going right down to Kirra and Coolongatta...iv fallen in love with the place and dont mind driving out there - except for the cost in petrol and all the nasties it makes, of course. The bf learnt to surf last weekend - he did well and is going back for more. Im not sure what day we are going next....bubt your welcome to come and then stay in our iglootongue

Luella is right - they eat the nasties!

I guess im kinda used to the family stuff - but its every now and again that stuff stands out. Mum knows exactly how I feel about it all. There was one point where I told her off because I wasnt even being thanked. She did listen to that and its good now - I get some verbal feedback. Really thats all I want. It would be nice to see the sister take on some of the baggage as well I guess.

Michael took me for a drive down the coast on Sunday - and I really like it just at the NSW/ QLD boarder. Its close enough, but a nice scenery change and the beaches are beautiful! Thats where I wanna go....but staying here paying $80 rent a fortnight gives me some monies to save....and then I could afford a deposit and own a house there in a few years.......grrrr......I hate being "responsible" confused
