It's important that Ferris gets along with whomever his new housemate might be, too.
When I used to have rabbits (oh... years ago) our first priority was always to make sure they would get along with each other.

I'm sorry things with Polly aren't working out. Ferris is your first priority though and I respect that you need to put his best interests first.
The real estate stuff make sense too... Shame landlords don't like lots of pets....
