I wish I could tattoo "NO, IT DIDN'T HURT. AT ALL." on my forehead. That'd be pretty freaking cool.

My b-day is coming up soon. Only a month away. I guess it's pretty cool that I'll be 21 soon. I also guess I never thought I would end up actually getting to this age. It was only yesterday that I looked forward to getting good...

Cool, glad to hear you're open to new movies. I'm sure you won't regret it!!!

No, i havent seen the new underworld yet. We went on opening day but my friends had worked all night and couldnt wait an extra hour due to nearly falling asleep at the wheel. so i guess i will probably go and check it out this coming weekend.
have you seen it already? And if so how was it?

I got a gym membership today. It's pretty sweet. Hopefully this will help me get in better shape. I just need to stick to it, and I probably will since I've got a partner along.

I haven't made any resolutions for this year yet. I don't know if it's bad luck to not have it by New Year's Day, but that's the way it's gonna...

What a day to work 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. straight, and have to go back into work at 8 a.m. the next morning. Le sigh. skull

Happy New Year's, all. Hope you're having a better time than me. biggrin

14 HOURS!! I'd be bitchin' and moanin' more than you!!
Glad I'm in a union...Ok, so it does'nt make that much of a difference in a "right to work" state, but it helps all the same.
Think of it this way...your paycheck is gonna look great!
Happy New Year! Don't forget to eat your Blackeyed Peas today!
khorsaun:
Actually...I hate 'em too. But a few years ago, I came up with a recipe to where they don't taste like blackeyed peas at all, but more like beans.
You have to add alot of flavors to do it though....ALOT OF FLAVORS!!

Ingredients include: Garlic, Yellow Onion, Cajun Seasoning, Chipotle Pepper Sauce, LOTS of spices, and BEER!!
I also serve them over rice, and that helps alot. Making it this way, I could actually enjoy the stuff!

About this time last year I logged an entry here on SG about these new-fangled technodoodles called New Year's Resolutions--anybody heard of 'em?

Well, I didn't make many, but I feel there's a li'l bit of retrospection to be in order. Did I succeed in my goal to take over the world? Did I save a baby from a burning 3-story house and win the...

Props on your new pic and hell when you think about it two outta three on the new years resolution isn't bad right...
remyx:
thanks for the holiday and birthday well wishes. things went really well. I hope the same was true for you.

as far a resolutions go, i think that making them at least gets the thoughts going in the right direction. most people want to lose weight/get in shape, move, have a new career, etc... and attaching a life-changing event to the start of a new year is good. i think people use to see it as "hey, I survived the past year. I better start living better cause you never know when the end will come." as for me... eh, I'll make a few. the ones from the past year weren't kept, so I didn't 'pass' according to your grading system. frown I'll do better this time, as I hope we all do.

The World-Famous Thermostat Wars are beginning. I heard that term somewhere, and thought it very appropriate. I think it may have been somebody here on SG, but otherwise have no idea. Who is the proprietor of this ingenuous phrase, eh? Anyhow, back and forth, back and forth. I hope the little knob doesn't break! surreal

Kong is coming Wednesday. I'm totally gonna be there with bells...

It's a joke dude!! biggrin Just a joke on how I feel like I'm butting in whenever I leave a comment.

I dunno. Like I said, it depends on what day it occurs. I only usually have Sunday's and Monday's off. I could probably arrange it where I could have another night off, but it depends on alot of factors that I'll be good enough not to bore you with. Even then I'm not sure. I'm not really a fan of NIN, but just getting together with everyone would be cool. We'll see. I'm pretty open for stuff. Hell! I usually hate country music, but I went to a Charlie Daniels concert with my father, stepmother, and sisters this past summer, and had a pretty good time. So, in the end, I'd say it's a very definite "Maybe"! biggrin LOL! Sorry I can't be more clear than that.

hey, have a great Christmas and enjoy the little break you get. hopefully work won't interfere too much.

Gee Gee Gee Gee Gee

Not so much has been happ'nin' lately. I've recently discovered the allure of audiobooks, however. Wow, those gems are pretty spiffy. I might pick up a subscription to Audible.com soon--although I may have too many recurring subscriptions now as it is (ya'll should be able to guess one, if you're lucky). Hmmmmm.

I'll be in Little Rock all day Saturday...

Don't worry. I'm cool about it all. I'm just feeling a little self consious at the moment. Believe me, I'll open my big mouth sooner than you think. HEHEHEHE

dude!! I was at Vino's Saturday!! didn't see you though. I was surprised at the crowd. More families than normal were eating in there. I guess people from out of town were in to see the game and happened to stop in.

audio books are great! it's quality entertainment while you drive. If you get a good narrator, the story really sticks. Sometimes while traveling I'll stop in a Cracker Barrel and get a book-on-tape. If you return it, they only charge you a $3 fee, otherwise you essentially buy the tapes for $25. Not a bad deal. Of course Blockbuster had a whole section also. Gotta see just what they have to offer.

Since my last update both my mom and my dog have had their birthdays, although I still haven't got my dog's birthday present yet. It was on Halloween, so I should've had plenty of time by now to pick something up, but I haven't 'cause I fail. I dunno what I could even get him, other than a bone or something. He's getting old now...

I'm gonna have to collect all of the Teddy Scares! They are so cool! biggrin

As for a doggie present, personally I recommend a chew toy called the "nylabone". This is the toughest dog toy I've ever seen. I have an old dog of my own, and he is notorious for tearing up any toy I've gotten him, he's even eaten and swallowed those rawhide bones! But that nylabone has lasted for about 5 years now and he absolutely loves it! I cost's about $10, but it's worth it!

I liked Saw 2 all right.
I work at a movie theatre and it's so funny to see the people who are completely mesmerized by that movie.
What's even funnier is to see the people who would rather watch Flight Plan.
I'll never understand.

For Halloween I am going on a great journey. The greatest of journeys. About 60 miles north of here to visit this place called "The Forest of Fright." Hopefully it'll be worth the trip. I've been wanting to go for a couple of years, so I don't want to be let down by it being sub-pair. It's supposedly this maze or something, a few acres...
