i just found the most pertinent blurb:


Hip-hop singer Lauryn Hill accused Catholic Church leaders of "moral corruption, exploitation and abuse" during a performance at a Christmas concert at the Vatican.

Moral corruption, exploitation and abuse sounds similar to what weve read occurs behind the scenes, more often than not, in the hip-hop industry. Rapes, shootings, degradation of women (especially black women); you know the drill.

But then again, if hip-hop was booked at the Vatican, Lauryn may have a point.

of course, to add that to the thread would only fan the flames!
