This is the first time I've used this journal, but I figured I had to start sometime right?

Anyway, hey all.

I just got back from coffee with a friend of mine. Interesting guy, and he just got back from a trip to Italy with a university group. I think he spent about a month there and took in all the historic Renaissance sites and stories.

Made me a bit jealous it did, but in a good way...

I've decided to start the slow process of saving for a similar trip to ... well, somewhere.

My only problem is deciding where that somewhere might be...

Still, I think trip to foreign shores might do me some good. See, I'm a bit boring. I grew up in this place, and have lived in and around here for the past twenty-three and a bit years of my life. It's not much of a bustling cultural center, more of a tourist/retirement trap, but hey, it's my home town and I'm sappy that way.

Not much else to say, really, other than hello.
