So, what's new. Lots of drama with the divorces here, we seem to be getting involved and we don't want to. The next-door neighbor wife keeps spending a lot of time here. Like a lot. And I don't mind, but I have to stop staring at those jugs. She has to notice me taking long adoring glances. Another couple friends of ours are having some major marriage issues, too. Now, we have 3 marriages coming apart in one month, weird...is it the weather?
A nice uptick in my poker fortunes. I won a tournament last week, $1600. I've been close to finishing in the money the last few tournaments, so to win one was nice. It had been a few months. Another tournament this Friday, but small money, $40 entry, 1st place is probably $500. Online, I play for a seat in the World Series of Poker WSOP, Main Event, this Sunday. Longshot, but you never know. I almost made the Main Event in 2005. I finished 2nd out of 160 players in a live tournament up here at the Niagara Falls Casino. 1st place was WSOP package, worth $12,000, 2nd $1500...boo.
