So I had an exciting weekend,..........sort of.

We played a dive bar here in North Tonawanda this past Saturday night, and a bunch of fans showed up, not like "fan" fans, more like crazy-ish fans. We're just a local cover band that I am trying to get to play some interesting music, like Bowie, The Clash, Smithereens, etc, but we still mostly play Skynryd, Zeppelin, Bob Seger, and Bad Company stuff, so we attract a lot of people that like to dance badly to 70s and 80s tunes...

These ladies showed up, friends of friends, co-workers of friends, etc. There were probably about 10 ladies there between the ages of 40 and 50. So, yeah, Cougar-ish, I guess. Some were married, some were not. So the drunker they got, they more vocal they got, and the dancier they got, and the dirty dancier they got. And yeah, they were dirty-dancing on me like flies on shit. We are only a three-piece band, so it's either me or the guitarist, and, well, he looks like a hillbilly version of Charlie Daniels, so by default, I get the laaaaaaadies, oh yeah.....

So there I am, trying to play my bass and sing my parts, and these Vodka-Tea breathed, Cigarette reeked monsters were all, "Oh Brown Eyed Girl, that's my faaaaaaaavorite song. I have brown eyes, SEEEEEE........." Grind. Grind. Grind. on my LEG. LEG. LEG. From about 1am till we ended at 2:15am, it was a rotating wheel of Cougars...
