I've noticed that my behavior on SG runs in cycles.
1. I get really excited about the SG's and the sets, and I neglect my journal.
2. I remember to update and do it fairly often.
3. I start hitting the boards and groups like crazy, stop looking at the sets.
4. I become a journal fanatic and start updating like 2 and 3 times a day.
5. I overload on the site, put my computer in the closet and stay away for months at a time. I've actually let my membership lapse I think three times.
Right now I feel like I'm solidly at step 4. I don't think I've really looked at a set since Mei's set almost two weeks ago.

Maybe you just like man-powered things more... the gun uses gunpowder, and the speedboats gasoline. So maybe it's just that. Guns are fun. I would like to be better at archery, though.
