A phone conversation with my mom:
Mom: Do you remember Diane and Jeff?
Me: No
Mom: They were the ones who would talk through movies and annoy you kids.
Me: Nope
Mom: You remeber them. You really didn't like them.
Me: Sorry, nope
Mom: Oh, well they came over this weekend and............(then a long story i didn't listen to).
I love my mom, but talking to her on the phone makes me pound my head on a wall. Usually the story goes "Do you remember Blah?" and i say no again and again til she goes, "Oh, well she got cancer"
after the first year of dating, K once said to me "Talking to your mom is scary. Everyone she knows gets cancer."

Oh, and there is no comma in pot chocolate. I have a very good friend that makes these incredible gourmet chocolates with magic butter. mmmm....
