Bad news kids. I wanted to ask the girl for her number today, right? First words out of her mouth when I say hello today are-"I'm having such a shitty week."
So of course Remy replies- "What's wrong dear? You can tell me about it."
And girl says- "I don't even want to talk about it, it makes me want to cry." So I did not see asking her for her number to be good odds. What Remy did do was console her all the whole class period until she told why her week is so sucky, and then Remy made her laugh and smile and forget about being sad for a little while. So while I didn't get her number, I still did good, right? Right?!

Speaking from experience, ask for her number now or don't do it. Once you cross that line and become friends it's all over with.
