Every Sunday, I check a bunch of websites, hoping to find local music shows. Or in cases of certain bands, if they're playing not locally.
Mike Doughty was the gem I found last. I'm pretty disappointed that it's the only thing on my schedule for months.
That said, I'm leaving Seattle for Ocean Shores. Not forever. See, there's this guy. His name is Oliver, and he plays Irish folk songs. He's been in DC for 6 months with his girl and their kids, and he'll be back playing gigs next weekend (April 8, 9) down at Ocean Shores at the irish pub there. A bunch of my non-sg friends are going down there, and we'll drink, play games, wander on the beach, and drink at the pub. Except I'm the designated driver on Friday night. And I still need to get rid of the 3rd BR of the townhouse I've got for the weekend.
I got my laptop back - it no longer overheats, but the serial mouse port and the mouse pad no longer work. Niiiiccce.
