I used to hate telemarketers. As in, talk in nothing but swear words.

One just called from the Dish Network. I like dishes. I tried to find out what kinds of dishes he sold, but then he wanted to talk about TV. No, no...we were talking about dishes. I'm looking for this really nice dish that I can give my mother for her birthday. He wanted to ask what kind of TV SHE had. Now, I understand that some CRAZY people might match their cookware with their TV, but my mom's not one of them.

What, yes, I understand - the dish network, kind of like the kitchen network. I've seen that on TV. Then he started talking about TVs again. Listen, if you want to sell dishes, you don't talk about my TV. Why are you asking if I have a cable? Those don't get used in cooking at all - wait - for storage? I never thought about that. Instead of shelves that can get dusty, you sell dish cables. If the dishes were well-placed, you could balance them on 2 or 3 cables across the cupboard.

He was either getting really excited, or really upset. His english wasn't very good to start with, but it started getting really bad at this point. He started saying DISH FOR YOUR TV, like I was hard of hearing or an idiot. He's the one trying to sell me flatware for my appliances, geesh. Maybe it was just really loud where he was calling from.
