any interesting weekend plans?

saturday i think i might go back to york beach again.... it was beautiful and it made me happy. other than that, sky's the limit. maybe i'll throw my sleeping bag in the car too and find someplace somewhere to curl up and watch the stars and fall fast asleep. that would be nice.

the usual for me work 10pm to 8am, but for saturday, sleep for a few hours then head to my aunt's surprise birthday party. my cousins built a fire pit for a pig roast. then be in at work at 10pm saturday night.

Tomorrow I'm teaching workshops at the Revolving Museum as part of the Lowell folk festival.

I'd do more roadtripping,unfortunately, I get lost everywhere and I recently lost my copilot.

am i the only one who thinks that the harry potter movies are terrible?

don't get me wrong -- i think the books are amazing. which undoubtedly is heavily influencing my movie opinion. but i just can't get into the movies at all.

i thought the first 2 harry potter movies were horrible, but 3 & 4 weren't half bad. i've yet to see the order of the pheonix. i'm almost done with the deathly hallows. i like all of the books, i could reread the series a few dozen times.

in lovely happy news, this weekend was actually pretty awesome. and involved skinny dipping in the pool in my building at 3AM somewhere in the mix.

p.s. it also included doing a jello shot off the stomach of a hot -- HOT -- lesbian at the bar. how did i forget that part???

my relationship status is so whacked it strikes me as hysterically funny on nights like these, when i come home drunk to hang out with the kitties at 1AM and contemplate my life.

i think i might drive to old orchard beach tomorrow. it occurred to me yesterday that i might now actually live closer to the beach that i consider to be my "far away vacation beach" than i do to my "favorite down-the-street everyday beach."
