I put up some pics and submitted a simple little desktop from an Elara/Jolene set. Don't know when it'll go up. The pic I used for it is one of my all-time favorites..... I think it says a lot about this site. Keep an eye out.

RE: Previous Entry

San Fran is a go. Flying into San Jose July 15 and out July 21. I've been once before but didn't spend a whole lotta time in the city. The friend I'm staying with has to work all week, so send me suggestions of all of the things that I should do and see to keep myself occupied. Please?

Have fun.. I was there about a year ago.. It was cold then..
Careful with the homeless people. For some reason, the were really belligerent towards me, when I was there. but I may be a freak case or whatever..
godzuki:

I'm waiting for an email from a friend in San Fran. If the dates I threw at him are approved for couch-crashing, I will be flying out for a week in July to roam the Bay area and possibly up into northern Cal/Oregon, maybe down to LA.

It was going to be a whole ridiculous x-country trip, but that's rapidly falling apart...... and I need...

I just gashed my hand pretty bad..... like thinkin-about-stitches bad.

With a damned butter knife.

I hope the bandaids will suffice. Can't quite bring myself to pay out of pocket to fix this one. frown

That happened to me the other day. I slashed 2 fingers on my right hand, with a big kitchen knife. I almost chopped them off even. Lots of pressure on it is the trick.

Hope it heals quick.

So. The wedding. This is a long story, my apologies ahead of time.

The bride, J, and I were once mortal enemies because she believed that I had stolen her boyfriend, D. Maybe, maybe not. He hated her for many years after until coming to peace with the situation a year or two ago. She and I came to peace one night, circa 1998, when...

Now picture it in burgundy.

Now picture me driving it.

I ended up in my hometown in upstate NY this morning, so I called home to see if my mom was around. My stepfather answered and we talked for a bit. "Say, would it help you...

Got a haircut at 6 tonight and then headed off into the sunset to hit the beach before the brief spell of warmth ended.

No, it wasn't quite hot enough today, and yes, the water was pretty cold after this depressing spring, but goddammit, the temperature broke 80 (barely) so I threw on my suit and went for a swim smile

Splashed around by my lonesome...

On Sunday Rhodie and I went to Target and wandered into the boys section. Rhodie had some reason in particular, looking for a gift for her nephew I think..... but we quickly became distracted by finding things for ourselves.

(It's taken me 24 years to figure out that I am a tomboy smile )

I limited myself to one particularly killer high necked sleeveless top from...
