I know exactly what you're talking about when you mention your roommate leaving. Last thursday mine left and I didn't know how much i missed my privacy until i had it in all it's glory.

I also know what you're talking when you mention feeling guilty when you're not doing anything. Even when I have nothing to do I feel like I SHOULD be doing something productive on my own time like reading or writing letters. That reminds me...if you ever wanna recieve a letter from me, email your address my way. I'm trying to turn the U.S. postal service as my gift-giving service.

Eeeeeeeeeeew. I HATE computer issues! Isn't it just sad though how dependent you've become!? I never realize it until I have a major PC breakdown and then I just lose my mind!! I do agree though. I use MAC at work for design only. At home is PC all the way!! I ran into too many issues I couldn't solve without help using a Mac. I would rather fix my PC on my own and fix it FAST then to wait for days and spend money I don't have to hire someone to fix my Mac!! LOL!

sorry t'hear about the mac aches. i use a mac (powerbook on 10.3) at home and a xp pc at work. things are going fine with the pc so far, but over time windows just turns into a flaming garbage heap. in the end i think macs are better for your sanity. 10.3's actually more stable than 10.2 was for me.
a huge thing i love about running a mac at home - not having to deal with all of those viruses, worms, bugs, trojans, spyware, crapware that's constantly attacking pc's.

I absolutely agree with everyone's Valerian comments as well! I have used it for years to help me sleep! If you take an average tea bag, open it up and fill it with about a teaspoon's worth of valerian and then make a cup of tea with it, you will be amazed at how much more relaxed you feel. I don;t add milk to mine but I do add some sugar. Unfortunately Valerian smells of FEET! LOL! You get over it quick though!
