i think i might drive to old orchard beach tomorrow. it occurred to me yesterday that i might now actually live closer to the beach that i consider to be my "far away vacation beach" than i do to my "favorite down-the-street everyday beach."
yup. google maps confirmed it. not by much, but i do actually live closer to the maine one than the rhode island one.
i think this means that i need to find a new favorite down-the-street everyday beach.
but maybe i'll still go to maine tomorrow anyway. it's been a while.
p.s. the salem - boston ferry is great, if you ever get the chance to take it. however, do not take it while hung over. just don't. trust me.
