It covers a million things doesn't it? I need to renew my passport when I can afford it (months and months away!) - and I think I need to have someone countersign it, as I don't look anything like my photo anymore. Would it be okay if I pestered you then? Depending on your job - as by then you may be running your own hat shop or something
I know the broke feeling - I forgot toilet roll (again) - but I did buy some 47p notes pads for Uni though. Not that I am going to wipe my arse with those - but there you go. I do my shopping online so it calculates exactly how much it is, so I can swap things in and out. I hate it when I run out of washing powder, fairy liquid, fabric conditioner etc. It's always on the same week - and then that means not as much food shopping!
I will stop complaining now.... maybe!

I'm so sorry to hear that things aren't going well for you at the moment. Maybe things look grim right now but I know they won't stay that way so try to stay optimistic in this rough stretch of time.
But also, don't feel bad if you get a job interview for somewhere better while you're on leave. It won't look good to your old place but if you're pleased to not be there and looking for something else, I don't think you really should worry too much about what they think over there.
