bleach the life out of it, then use your preferred red dye. I used deep red from Jeans Color (Alfaparf).

Just seen your Q on one of my sets, to get it bright you need to bleach your hair until it's really blond/white and then choose your dye, I used StarGazer pillarbox red. Hope that helps
