Everything is a disaster at work today. The lawn situation is out of control, someone across the street filed a formal complaint with the City Public Health Department about the grass being too long. I think I've found some volunteers to come with lawnmowers tomorrow, but we have a complex that's 1/2 of an entire block. I don't know how much mowing can get done. The bids for a new lawn contract are coming in, but the board has to approve it and they don't meet until the end of the month. So my hands are tied. Meanwhile I have to listen to volunteers and the general public complain about how white trash it looks. I imagine that this is what it's like to work for the government.

I went on a date last night that ended up in DRAMA. We went bar hopping, and ran into his most recent ex girlfriend at the last bar-she was visibly upset to see us hanging out together. Then his ex left with his best friend. He wasn't upset about her at all, but he felt like his best friend ditched him. Date over at that point. I also saw a guy I used to date at one of the other bars, we haven't spoken since we broke up. He was trying to stare me down, that was a nice touch.

Other than that I had a great time just hanging out with this guy. Hope to get the chance to hang out again...and not anywhere near his ex.
