I couldn't agree more!!! I have had one of those years where I've learnt to appreciate 'normal'......it's one of those things you never appreciate till it's taken away...in my case temporarily thank God!! I like normal now! 
I love riding my bike.
But today was just one of those days where you know its going to be hard. It was also the day when summer turned to winter with the wind, rain and darkness cranking up a few notches. The next few months will be about grinding it out in whatever mother nature throws out.

I live by the sea just out from London. The wind here is hard all the time so anytime you go out on a bike its in your face.
