Another crazy week. Worked on a commercial on Tuesday for OnStar. We were shooting in Griffith Park up near the carousel. While we were eating lunch we noticed smoke on the other side of the hill. Soon after ash started raining down on basecamp...really weird. The ground turned an errie shade of orange as the sun came through the smoke and fire....

check it out. i think i am gonna department hop. the show i am on is gonna need me to be the 2nd 2nd and the current 2nd wants me to work with him on his next few projects. there aren't very many women directing out there, and i want to make a big mark in the film world someday. i just don't think that opportunity is there in art. or the office.

Do you have any suggestions of how to make it from Lexington at 8 am to Morehead at 4 PM and what to do in that time span...I thought about going to carter caves but then I remembered that I have a fear of being crushed to death in a cave...I've only been through salt peter like a bajillion times but it's looses some of it's lackluster...
perhaps some hiking around cave run..
