The long and short of the story is I got screwed -- in both senses of the word -- by this girl who, as far as I can tell, pretended like she was really interested because she wanted to try and distract herself from her "ex"-boyfriend. Who happens to be a good friend of mine.
Then she decides that I'm not useful anymore and discards me like a shed exoskeleton. One day before the "ex" gets back from a long trip. The coincidence is just, you know, utterly shocking.
Why I even bother sometimes I don't even know. I try real-hard-like to not be jaded about the fairer sex but I'll be fucked if it isn't almost impossible.
