the setting is a tattoo parlor
the image is of someone about to get their tongue pierced then someone asks:
"why do you do it?"
various people shown:
"because its cool."
"because its sexy"
"because it hurts"
and then an image of jesus on cross
voice says "he was pierced too."
it was a commercial for a local church. it made me laugh.

oh dear. I've seen some ... interesting commercials on local tv, and from what I've seen, they all look like they were shot with Bubba's circa-1993 vhs camcorder. haven't seen any recently for churches though... but it's bad enough that they send junk mail out once a week to basically everyone in town. "come worship with us, we're cooler than the other churches!!!!!", that sort of thing. such a waste of trees.
