man, that sucks...but you're right, if he's been with you 5 years, you two should be close enough that a long-distance relationship wouldn't break you, or that he would at least give it a shot if it meant that you would be going to the school you wanted to go to and realize your dreams... no doubt it would be rough, at least sometimes, but as long as you two love each other enough to trust that neither of you would cheat or fall out of love or be too broken by the strain, your relationship should be able to weather any storm... well, that's my opinion anyways, and i'm not to be trusted...

yeah, we're actually just moving one town over, to arlington heights - we lucked out, cause since they completely renovated the downtown area, rent there is insanely expensive, but we found a nice apartment there for $820 - it doesn't have all the luxuries (pool, parking lot, elevator, etc..) but it's nice all the same

Screeching Weasel/Queers @ the House of Blues in Chicago - last Screeching Weasel show, a punk rock Mecca trip of sorts... my buddy and i flew in just for the show from Seattle... unbelievable...

yeah so i just found out that my aunt and uncle are getting divorced. that makes me sad. it makes me sad that i might not see my uncle on holidays any more. and it makes me sad even more because i know that he doesn't really have any other family. very sad.
