me ranting about a shitty sound system in the funhouse tonight! wooo!

so it is pretty hard to be an audio mixer when you don't have control over all the audio on stage. if we only have 5 inputs, those being 3 vocals, a kick mic, and the organ is direct inputed into the PA, i can't really help all that much when the bass cab is too loud on stage or is feeding back because tascar couldn't keep his hands on it when he wasn't playing. also, if the sound system is just shitty, i can't fix that either. if you cant hear yourself in the monitor wedges over the stage volume and you ask me to turn it up when if i turn it up any more it will probably blow the amps (and then you will have no monitors at all), there really isn't much i can do there. maybe turn donwn the stage volume....mainly the bass rig.

so yeah, i just dont like shitty sound systems. tascar is just starting in the band. he will get better i hope. the monitors situation is nobodies fault. just a shitty system.



we are playing a sold out show at the el corazon tomorrow with the unseen. dig it.

Haha, dude, that sucks. I was totally at the Funhouse on Saturday, and the sound there always blows. I was there to see The Leather Uppers, did you guys play before or after them?

The sound at the funhouse is never good. I'd say it's part of the charm, but....
