So, our Stage Carpenter has been injured by a piece of scenic equipment during the tech of Cabaret. He got his hand caught in a cable drum that's part of the working mechanism of the trap door and broke several digits. he's lucky it was a really light dancer on top of the trap otherwise he would have lost his hand. And seeing as I'm the only other crew guy, who's seen the show a few times, as the Followspot guy. I've been drafted by management to replace him and learn the show in one rehersal tomorrow before our first preview.
Sleep? I ain't gonna sleep tonight.....
More later.
