Yes I run, not terribly well but I'm getting better over short distances. My marathon time is 6h10 so I can certainly do better. I can do a half marathon in 2h30, but I'm gonna get that under 2 hours over the next 10 months. I love getting new personal bests.

I started running last September and could only do about 100 yards. It took a while to get up to 5 miles but after that I could add 3 miles per month running only once or twice a week. Once I got to 15 miles though I found it hard to go further. Perhaps cos I was only running one a week by then.

Enter races, they are fun, even for the slow runners.

Gah! I don't actually have any other days off apart from the weekends, and I can't get any other time off for the next couple of weeks. What are you doing the weekend of 28th/29th July? That's the weekend of the Bristol meet but I'm not going. Alternately, I think I also have a couple more wednesdays after those 3 free as well.

I'm pretty sure I shall be off that saturday now, as well as the sunday, as my hours are all fu8nny at the moment. I shall text you as soon as I know tomorrow morning

Fopp was the antithesis to HMV and Virgin, they actually reduced *good* CDs! And they also had a better selection of obscure CDs than the other chains. I spent a small fortune in the Reading one. I'm sure it'll be back or someone will open a similar but more profitable chain.....

Turn up with a red nose, a white face, and a big bottle of vodka. That makes sense to me.
