I am always amazed at how new music just creeps up on me. Being an active musician I am always aware of current trends and what defines a genre but I love the fact that there is also something I have not heard. Like I recently found I love Primus. I had never heard them but was recommended them. So I sat an had a listen. It was amazing! A cacophony of notes and sound weaving to create this inspiring weirdness that I'd not heard before.
I think what Im trying to say is that you can live a whole life time listening to your favourite band(s) and there is nothing wrong with that. But why limit your listening when there is so much out there that can make your jaw drop!
