My grandkids were so thrilled to get some cards from South America. It was the first time they ever got any from there. It really made them so happy. Their father's side is from there. His family won't have nothing to do with the kids nor does he, for the last 13 years. We know his family came from Spain to SA then up to the States. Zanata is 14 and really wants to get more connected with her Latino/Hispanic side. She is starting to write a report for school that is due in March. So this is very helpful. Since her fathers side are useless. Both of the kids have tried to make friends with others here to feel more connected but so far a lot of them don't want to be friends. One parent told me my grandkids are to white to be friends with their kids, I was what the heck? Long story short,we are doing our own thing. So the point to all this is THANK YOU for making the kids happy and connected.
