I use to ask for holiday cards this time of the year. Not just for me but for the kids. They love getting a lot of cards from all over the world. We did get a lot back when I first joined many moons ago. Over the years it has became less and less. Not sure what happened. One thing I know is no one wants to send a simple holiday card for free. Good gosh not asking for blood. We do still get a few cards from SG members' that aren't on here any more. I miss the good old days were members just help others out. Last year I got flooded with "I send you a card if you join my private site" That is a big NO! How the heck did you get that out of 'cards for kids'
I am just venting. I do know there are still good honest members on here.
Work this time of year is busy putting Christmas stuff out. Been pricing it all since Nov 1st. I am the one that prices hardgoods at work (a thrift store). this is the time of year that all kinds of jokes come out about me pricing all this things, since I am the only Jew there. They are good fun jokes, nothing crud. And no I don't price anything really high, I want to people to buy the stuff to get it gone.
This darn fools here are still working on the darn roads. They know winter starts early here. Yet they still started new road work. And fools doing roof work too. Seeing a lot of roofers putting on shingles way to fast, which isn't good at all. There will be a lot of roof repairs in the spring/summer I can tell.
My kids and grandkids are all geared up for winter break already. I am take two weeks off while they are at of school to get out of town and two of them are packed and ready to go.
