I like to read. So I think I am going to try something different. lolz
I think I am going to write. Three types of books.

1)Fantasy/Fiction
2)Erotic
3)Serious crap

I don't know about number 3, but it is there, bleeding to be written, but the story isn't done yet.
Ever just want to scream and scream into a pillow until you have no breath...

A little while ago, I finished reading the last in a great series of books. I think I read too much. lol There is 10 books in the series so far, and as the story goes on, it only gets better.
Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series. The books go in this order:

Debt of Bones
Wizards First Rule
Stone of Tears
Soul of the...

I loved the eddings books, even if they were not as dark as I`d like. did you read the Belgarath The Soceror and the book about his daughter? I guess you`d call them prequels.

And I loved the Alvin series. smile

Read any Robin Hobb or George RR Martin?

Keep well mate smile

Well, brought my van in to get fixed today, and got a call back.

"The damage exceeds the value of the van. We are totalling it." The value of the van is roughly about $3,400.00 and the damages were $3,632.97.

At least I got to drive something nice for a couple weeks

Thought I'd share. This stuff falls from my mind like leaves from a dying tree.

Living Today on the Trail of Yestermorrow

Split infinity, so many times,
Sought after happiness, not your dimes...
Fractured heart, fractured dreams
Mouth is silent, yet still the soul screams.

Hollow within the heart,
Thinking that it could be so smart...
Letting the walls fall down
Yet the crash resounds...

Your poem is quite lovely. I am sorry for you pain. Why have you gone through all of this?
raven_wing:
Thank you, Endquire.
I really don't know. Exposure to the wrong men? Living in the wrong part of the world?
I pissed someone off in a past life? lol...

I seriously think it was the third one...

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

I do quite like people leaving comments on their own journalsmile Its nice.

Well I hope your project goes well.

On the teckno front, I love detroit techno from the 80`s/90`s. People like Derrick may, Jaun Atkins, Kevin Saundersan, Carl Craig, Mr fingers(larr herd from chicago), to name but a few.

The author was Roger Zelazney.

Terry Goodkind( many of his though only book one of his other series), David Eddings(every last one of every series), Piers Anthony (split infinity and Tarot), Storm Constantine (wraithenu saga, all the books), Roger Zelazney, Orson Scott Card (all the alvin the apprentice), Mercedes Lackey(a couple, a long time ago).

Have you read China Meiville? If not, get immediately Perdido Street Station, The Scar, and The Iron Council.

Just wonderful.

Speak soon, I`ve bookmarked you.

Thanks once again for your wise words, its sorta helps to see it like that. Thank you

You are a beautiful person with great insights.

It's been a couple of days...um...more like a few.
I had court on the 15th, my ex-husband is trying to take custody of my babies from me.
We are talking about a man who abused me mentally, physically, emotionally and financially. He invented a couple other ways along the way as well.

I provide for the children to the best of my ability. They are...

T'ewas a pleasure, Mellisa!

Koala, I am suffering from the same thing, though this is the worst case yet.
I know Mercury is going retrograde...that usually only affects idiocity though lol
I suppose though that insomnia could be triggered through the idiotic actions of others!

Hi Dagan! The best thing about deep shit though is that once immersed, one usually learns the lesson (hopefully anyways) and it is a learning experience.

Not to sound corny, but ancient history rocks my socks. I was reading about the new find in the Valley of the Kings too, though not royalty per se...they had to either be related, or high enough on the totem pole to merit a royal burial.
I get into Ancient Egyptian, Sumerian, Ur, Babylonian, Ancient Celt (their journeys across Europe and finally settling into the Emerald Isles)
Thanks about the sperm donor issue.
puke
I have an evidenciary hearing coming up on 4/20 and they DENIED his request for a Guardian ad Litem. I am guessing the court doesn't take his claims seriously enough to warrant a G.a.L.

*hugs everyone*

Aren't you supposed post all those replies on the other people's journals? wink

The music is wierd, not very heavy, so I'm surprised I like it. But its intense. I posted their link, I think the site has some of thier songs if you wanna check em out!

WhOoT! I got a new van...ok, not NEW new, but new to me.
(1998 Chrysler Town & Country minivan)
It is cool. Has doors that open on both sides for passengers, which comes in mighty handy for those of the smaller persuasion. (No more reaching in and climbing over people to make sure buckles are on.)

It even has this nifty little black thing on...

I wish I had a broom. Fully enclosed and able to carry up to 5 people. lol
Fat chance of it happening, but then I wouldn't have to worry about finding another vehicle.

Love you too, Sis.

Ok, scratch the Neon.
I got a call back with new info, and the transmission slips. That was enough for me to say...um...no thanks.
They are getting other cars together for me to look at, so hopefully something positive happens.

What to say...what to say...

DVD movies rock. VHS suck because they take up too much room, and no one wants them on eBay. I think I have too much media-wise, but that way if I want to see something I don't need to run to the store and rent something.

As lame as it sounds, I am one of the people who can watch...

I was just thinking about eBay actually.
It is a curse for me. I know I should sleep, but right now I have about a zillion things going through my mind.

As a kind of joke I bought a bottle of Royal Bitch Reserve Merlot. I thought "I have to try this. See what a Real Bitch tastes like." lol Pretty delish. *grins*
This is the last glass from a few days ago. If I still need assistance getting sleepy, I have one more to fall back on, though closer to my favorite. Tiziano Chianti. Don't think I will need that though. I certainly hope not...

WhOoT!!!
wHoOt!!!

I found it on eBay!
*happy dances all over the page*

I think it is the same as the book I have too. There is a 1982 edition, but I found the one published by Avon and the one I have now, that is all but dust, was published by Avon.

So, this will make it about...book #301 LMAO
