this is what happened to me last night:


it's not as bad as it looks & I've been thinking of making up a cool story to go along with the injuries, but the fact isI went down to the bar that I usually drink at on my bike with my guitar on my back (I thought they were going to have an open-mic night, although it turns out it was cancelled. I could've played anyway, but got a painful attack of shyness)

anyway, riding home the guitar (& I'm sure the several beers that I'd consumed) threw my balance off a few blocks from my house & I kissed the pavement..

it cleaned up okay although I've got a pretty nasty gash on my forehead & under my nose (which looks broken in the photo but isn't) & my left eye is swelled shut.
