where my name comes from
(just don't want anybody to think that I have any particular animosity--or kink--towards any particular "Julia". actually, the only "julia" that I've ever really known was (name-droppage! name-droppage!) the actress Julia Stiles, with whom I had a relationship for a couple of months.
actually, the relationship consisted of me giving her small sandwiches & her thanking me for them.
also, keeping her supplied with vegan snacks which my partner referred to as "Julia Chow", as in "Well, we got the twinkies for the Teamsters, ham for the grips, proscutto for the electricians...shit! did we get any Julia Chow?")
