Ok, so a lowdown from the weekend. It started out rather crappy, not being able to do the simplest things on Saturday (it was an afternoon of total FAIL). I still haven't gotten that stuff done, but I'm hoping I can get some of it done form school. My printer is haunted, I swear. IF you love me and have the money to throw around, I could use THIS.
Anyhoo, Saturday evening was good. My dad has been with his company for 25 years, so the boss threw a big dinner at an awesome restaurant. Food and booze paid for. 2 glasses of wine, 3 beers, and the absolute most incredible steak I've ever had. Pepper crusted fIlet mignon, cognac sauce and mushroom caps with mashed potatoes, broccoli and carrots. I have never had a more tender piece of meat in my life.
After the uber dinner, I got home, spent a night well surrounded in chat and on MSN, and wen tto bed. Today I got a few things done around the house (though STILL not the dishes, ewwwww), got a little homework done, though not as much as I wanted, and gamed. I've been out of the loop with shooter games for a while, but I don't regret Team Fortress 2. It took some getting used to, compared to the original, but it's well worth it.
I posted this in the SIlliness boards in a thread titled "Who" but that thread disappeared. It was all about who you pictured yourself with in 10 years. I had an elaborate web of SG people listed, so I figure it's worth repeating...

In 10 years:
- I will be in a happy, stable love trifecta with BrightRedScream and Holdin
- khoos will still be my best friend, and mydogfarted will be my friend-in-law
- I will debate the meaning of life and other such things in the middle of the night with Tinyhobo. Regularly.
- LadyCakes, Kindle, sillyokio and TheInsatiableFT will hopefully all lust after me. Still.
- clarkekid, janegeraldine and I will love hockey WAY too much, and will discuss it frequently.
- I will very much enjoy Kleio's boobs. I mean... pics of her boobs.
- I will have proposed to Thaddius a total of 1425 times (number increased from original estimate)
- Elvis will be tied to my basement wall
- skeeve and I will still be making our tired old buttsecks pizza joke
- IgnatzMouse, myself and a few other people will be working on a sequel (or possibly a threequel) to "Reverend Roadkill"
Oh, I almost forgot... Suri will still VERY much be around, and kicking some serious ass, celebrating her 10 year wedding anniversary, and her victory.
And SO much more! I could go through my entire friends list, but for now, you get the idea. I appologize to anyone not mentioned, these are the things that stick out in my mind the most.
It's been said that more pictures of me need to be taken. I'm not fond of the idea. I'll think about it, though.

He knows I'm there for him to talk to. Unfortunately I don't live near him so seeing him to cheer him up is not a possibility at this time which limits us to talking online and via phone. I don't think it's really a matter of fixing anything too soon, but rather, more trying to get him to not be so hard on himself. We all make mistakes, we ask for forgiveness (if we are apologetic for it), and then we let things progress from there. I just feel helpless where it's concerned.
