So......First day at the key store.....

I walk in and the manager says, "I'm going for a coffee. I'll be back in a little while."

Uh...Ok. So I hang up my jacket and pray that no customers come in. Fortunately, they didn't. Eventually the manager comes back and asks if I had gotten the letters of reference from my empoloyers in nova scotia yet. How...

Wow. Its been a long time since I last posted. A loooong time. I've pretty much been trying to hide from all society, even the online world.

Unfortunately, I am now forced to reintegrate myself back into society.

I handed out a lot of resumes a while back and had pretty much given up on ever hearing back. Lo and behold, though, I got a...

YAY!!

Good luck with the job.

Yeah, it seems odd that they'd want you to contact your past employers for references yourself. Very lazy on their part. It would freak me out too, cuz I wouldn't want to call them.

And good luck with the Paxil. It worked wonders for me years ago. But please, if it doesn't work, don't give up, try other meds. Something is bound to help.

I think it's great that you've seen a psychiatrist. Yeah, it's bizarre that they'd suggest group therapy, but it also makes sense. Yes, if you were afraid of spiders, there's a school of thought that would mean your therapist would 'force' you to be around spiders. Though I don't think they'd throw you into a tub full of them. At least not at first.

I was assessed years ago for group therapy and they turned me down. I was too confrontational apparently. Mind you, that was a year or two before they'd figure out that I was schizophrenic.

I suppose they hope that you'd feel like the group was a safe, therapeutic environment, thus easing the stress of being around other people.

Good luck!

My brother scored tickets to the world premiere of "Borat" and invited me to go with him. I'm sure his fiance was not interested in going as she is from russia and actually has friends from Kazakhstan and doesn't believe that Borat acurately portrays kazakhstanians.

There were thousands and thhousands of people there. Sacha Baron Cohen arrived as Borat (riding in on a donkey)...

Friend is a four letter word.

I've never had good experiences with friends. In High school I was spontaniously abandoned by every friend I had and to this day I have no idea why.

I wrote off having friends forever, but within a year I found my life feeling far too isolated and lonely, so I started looking for friends again.

Over the past 8...

Wow. Very insightful post. Almost unusually insightful. Kinda sad that this spurt came from your need to help expose innocent us to the deceitfulness of others.

*August 5th Update: Current sleep ratio: 8 hours sleep out of last 89

I have only slept 6 hours out of the last 65. The world is starting to get a little fuzzy around the edges, but I have a surprising amount of energy.

I think there's moles living in my walls. I keep hearing them.

I'm having a hard time filling up the hours....

Hopefully you've slept since posting this.

I was awake for over 24 hours, and then alseep for about 30 the past two days. I sometimes do that.

I like your answers to some of those questions, like renting a hotel during sex.

It's a shame you haven't been propositioned by a guy before.

And on a completely different topic, you two should come to karaoke on Monday for sure then. I actually probably could pick you guys up if you want. That would save you the hassle of taking the train and subway. And it would still be daylight, so I could give you a tour of Toronto on the way there. Actually, it's mostly Scarborough, so there's not much to see. Message me and we'll figure something out.

I neve trust those things anyway.
If I don't get around 8 hours of sleep a night, I'm a cranky bitch. Plus, I'll try to nap every chance I get. Not pretty.

I think if I didn't have a bunny to feed I wouldn't get out of bed at all.

Not that Librarygirl isn't plenty of incentive, but unlike some people (not mentioning any names, but their initials are randbaek) she has a job. The kind where you go some place and do some things and are, in turn, rewarded through financial compensation.

I would love to...

Our landlord finally fixed our toilet. It had been broken for a very long time, and to tell you the truth I was kind of dissapointed to see it repaired. The water ran constantly and loudly, so that was kind of irritating, but it would also occasionally shoot water out the side of the septic tank, and that was hilarious. Not just a trickle mind...
