Tired.
I am the driver. I drive everywhere for everyone.
I guess that I like it, but sometimes I think I forget myself in it. Sitting there in that car, driving for hours by myself, through the night, music loud, I forget that I am anyone beyond the mind of a moving machine.
You know that moment, when the road is coming at you, and you don't actually think for your leg to move so much as think the car faster. I am the driver.
Even when I'm ill, it makes me feel better. I forget my body's limitations and comfort myself with the velocity and the wind.
I drive to bring people home and bring them where they need. I drive to get from here to there. I drive to forget who I am and be nothing for a while, unreachable as the road speeds by below me.
Tired.
