Now nearing the end of my first week as a Chicagoan. Woohoo! I'm feeling pretty good about things. I'm enjoying myself, even though I've yet to meet anyone or start school. I just wake up feeling energized, which hasn't been the case in sooooo long. So far, so good.

Sir, I'm psyched/envious you got to catch Oswalt & Kinane recently. Kyle's a Chicago native apparently; I'm not sure if he did it but there's a bit on his album about needing to use the bathroom in a Cholo bar that is fucking hysterical. I've never seen either of them live; the non-perks of living at the ass end of the world.
