I don't want to sound like a dumbass ... but truth is stranger than fiction, I suppose. I buy soooo many DVDs, mostly from half.com. Then, since its on DVD and I don't need to make a commitment as to when ... I hate to tell you how long they sit around unwatched.

The real truth here? I spend WAY too much time on the computer! Who has time for real life, let alone television? It's a miracle my kid stays fed and clothed.

Speaking of the kid and Halloween ... he will be, OF COURSE, Spiderman. We take him trick or treating in the Million Dollar house part of town instead of the slum where we live. So, I expect he will have too much candy but at least it will be premium candy. I learned that he can take some of the candy to school the next day and the school donates it to some homeless shelter. I know, the homeless people don't need candy any more than we do ... but I think that is the sweetest way to get the kids to share and apparently there are enough donations that the homeless people get a little treat with their meal for a whole year. I'm such a sap, but it made me smile.

Yeah, my sister reminds me every year. She told me yesterday that I should disappear to Hawaii every year on that day and not tell anyone. I may actually think about doing that next year

Thank you very much for your thoughts and words. It means a lot to me. I really miss her deeply and have no idea how to return to anything remotely normal now. She was the best friend anyone could ever ask for.

This reminds me of the movie the Highlander "there can be only one" Ha ha ha!Well it sounds like there needs to be alot of people working there since you said it's a big store.How are you today?I think you need to just relax and try not to think about work so much even if you are there,thats been the way I have been dealing with it and I feel alot better and I hope you feel better as well

I'm so bad with shopping right now. Most of the time I'm good at saving, but not right now. On pay day I spent like $100 before 3pm.

I have a sewing machine, but it needs some work to be useable. It seems to be about 80 years old, if not more. Maybe this winter I'll sit down with it and get it working.

I hear you about the junk food. I have been eating off dollar menus lately to save money, but I feel like I'm killing myself doing it. Every double cheeseburger slows my heart a little. I can feel it.

Yikes. I know exactly how you feel about your friend. I have a good friend in the same situation. I'm trying to figure out how to handle social situation when this guy is around and I am NOT happy about it.
