so here's an update since something finally happened recently. last week I went home to Vineland, NJ for one of the last times (before our house gets sold). seems my mom might actually move to India after it sells. pretty crazy. anyway saw my bro for the first time in a year and he just got back from Baghdad. wtf was he doing there? well, you got me... he has political asprirations I guess that's it. I still think it's kinda fucked that he went there but oh well he's back now. I actually can't believe he was doing the kinda stuff he was doing (don't think I should really say anything more about it out of principle). well, anyway he works at the state dept. and is basically a diplomat. yeah you thought it sounded like he's a spy right? well i guess he could be.
so watched like almost the whole season 2 of BattleStar Galactica... that shit is a goood fucking show. seriously did not expect to get practically sucked into the tv. I had not seen any of it so I have to get ahold of season 1 even tho I really don't have time to watch tv... last thing I should be doing, but I should probly watch it before my bro comees out to visit with the rest of season 2. yeah, that the would be the only responsible thing to do. check it out in sci-fi network- its great writing, sci-fi effects, and excellent suspense and story-line. basically these robot people attack human populations a la Terminator on like 13 planets and then the surviving humans are trying to fight the robots and find earth to resettle. i probly sound like a trekky dork. well there are trekkies of all kinds, dont you forget it! some of us are cool. really. very cool.
oh yeah, and I just got offered this gig shooting pictures for Common Ground... it's a free hippie/yoga kind of rag. really the best reproduction quality and photography of anything free that you see round here. so cuz they don't pay shit I won't say this is my big break and do the dance of joy. i need money for that, you feel me? but this is pretty rad, my stuff gets seen and they're paying $400 bucks for 2 shoots a month. so hopefully that will cover expenses such as zipcar and lighting shit. well it won't cover lighting shit so I'll have to mostly make do with what i got. anyway I will post links if they start using my shots. yay. pictures for my journal.

I've heard nothing but good about the new show, though I'm wary of what Sci-Fi I watch. Unfortunately I don't have cable right now so I watch very little of anything. I think the iTunes store sells the episodes so maybe I'll check it out.
