finaaaally i've got internet and my old mac back in action, so here's an update. i haven't used this thing since september. i' m getting settled into my new apartment now and it is coming along. not close to ready for entertaining, but soon. oh yesss. new year's here was pretty mellow because i just hung out with my friend prima. went to dinner, watched the fireworks on the beach and then just chilled. funny it was like a total date thing to do. she is one the coolest girls i've known but there's no sexual attraction for either of us so we can be close friends. it's great to have a girl like that, who you know will always be there. and and it was like that from the get go. not like flakey san francisco people or most people in general. i feel like i need to run into people a lot and usually put up with flakiness in sf to meet friends (doesn't help that i work for myself). but i don't put up with the flakiness too much any more. i really hate it. so basically i don't believe in trying too much, even on on this site for instance. whatfuckingever. anyway, everything seems to go soooo much more smoothly here in miami. with the exception that i may not be ready to work yet with my knee (but that was fucked up in sf you see). so so what am i doing over there most of the time? it may be a long boring story so i'll just say i've invested too much of myself to say goodbye to sf without making some really good business connections. it could be so great too, damn city.

the winter season here in south beach is the best though. between the models, the south americans, and the cubans... my god. yess i am masturbating a lot. it is pretty warm and sunny here too. most nights have been chilly but tonight seems pretty warm so i might venture out. a good night for the delano. outside hotel bar, tre chic or something. there is a big pool with lounge chairs around it and off against the building, the beds. yes yes. it's wonderful to look up and see the palm trees. the only places i'm really interested in here now are outdoors. there's too much fucking smoke everyhwere and i'd rather be outside anyway, it is miami. there's another place a lot like this one and then a great club on the end of the beach. i plan on doing a lot less partying though, more cooking, saving money, and entertaining.

i picked up a bike for ten bucks from this guy who sells bikes out of his apartment. he sells them usually between $25 and $50 bucks, but he didn't have his tools and this one needed some work so he gave it to me for ten. he said that's actually what he bought it for. whoever i've told about this is like, riiight he buys them really cheap and then sells them out of this house, sure. he's an older dude and he seems really upstanding actually. i pretty much believe him. anyway i need to fix the tire now. nice to see you lovelies again. oh, and i promise this year to post more pictures for sure. latah.
