so much going on, happy 2010 everyone!
made a couple of videos New Year's in Niagara, here's one of Styx covering "I Am the Walrus":
me and AC drove up to Beacon NY and then to Niagara...sort of a last-minute idea. Normally one does not drive *north* for a winter getaway but we didn't want to make such a major trip driving south for days and probably pay a lot for a place to stay.
stopped at a fun brewery pub in Niagara town before we crashed the night before New Year's Eve.
We were bemused at the kitsch factor of going to a tourist destination like Niagara Falls but they put on a great show. There were 60,000 people there!! We discovered all those bodies made it a lot warmer even though we weren't crowded together. Then at midnight the fireworks went off and the tower blew up and yeah it really did feel like a whole shiny new decade began for the world.
As for 2010, I have some informal resolutions floating around in my head...make some more $ this year without selling out my creativity...manage my time better...sit zazen every day...make my presence online a bit more regular professionally and personally, including here
