My Gramps died today. He was diabetic AND had Alzheimer's. I tell ya, the man held on for as long as he could. Plus, he went through a lot before the end. This was the last photo I took of him before December, his first of many admittances into the hospital...
Not exactly the most pleasant photo of him, however I think it shows a lot about him. Scared about what was going on within him... Angry too. Yet resolute.
It's a good thing I didn't have any birthday plans set in stone.
