I am sitting in the Memphis airport at the end of 4 weeks of continuous travel. I will be quite happy to get home and crash in my own bed. Three weeks of this sojourn were for my practice, and one week was a great trip down the Green river in Utah. I paddled 85 miles through Desolation and Gray canyon, really good. The rapids were easy, from ripples to grade III. Nice camping spots, really cool watching the bats in the twilight. Found some petroglyphs, some inscriptions from a failed damn project in 1915, and lots of wildlife including wild horses, bighorn sheep, beaver, and lots of birds. Much more phun than the business travel, but I made a shitload of money on my projects. I think I will take most of July off.
