I dyed my hair purple! I totally love it. I doubt it's hot enough to put me up to SG status and I definitely didn't do it for that! I've always wanted to have purple hair. I've also always wanted to dress up like a space vixen with purple hair. I'm going to go to Walmart and buy some shiny 7of9 type of material to make a costume to match. Why, oh why, did Anne Francis not have purple hair in Forbidden Planet?
For this week I'm in Laramie, Wyoming doing some experiments. I love the reaction of people in Wyoming. In Berkeley it seems totally normal so no one really notices. In Wyoming, no one has purple hair so I'm stared at a lot. The guy that dyed my hair told me the people that it mattered to would appreciate the symbol.

You are absolutely correct, Forbidden Planet featured Purple Hair, Robots of the day prefered jewel toned hues in hair....(I think...). Which begs for you to keep track of any other purple haired 'friends' in Wyoming, or any other atomic testing city/states. ;' All the best, respectfully.
