Here's a funny little true story:
When he was growing up, my Dad had no nice people in his life really. So he adopted stray mutts. One day, my grandfather, thinking it would be sort of insulting, told my dad that he was "the second-cousin of all dogs." (My gramp's kinda strange...don't ask.) My dad took it as a compliment. From that day forward, something strange happened. You know how you're not supposed to try to break up dog fights? He could--without being harmed. No dog will ever hurt him. One time these asshole wannabe punks let their 3 rottweilers loose when they'd seen my Dad and I walking our dog, just to scare us. Dad takes a step toward them, and the dogs back off. Crazy! (I'd done that to the wannabe punks before, but I wouldn't have thought it a sane move when faced with rotts.) So yeah, this story took a tad more space than I'd expected, but whatevs. Take good care of sweet Bentley.
