it's update time.
today has been rather enjoyable. not only have i found myself to be in a writing as opposed to commmenting mood, but i picked-up an awesome cd/dvd today. Eric Clapton : Sessions For Robert J. the real treasure of this new Eric Clapton is the dvd which is live recording sessions of most of the material that made up the album. for me is so awesome to see Clapton playing strictly blues again, and not the crap that he made in the late '70's, and all of the '80's. if there is one thing that Phil Collens over inflated ego did it was to make Clapton un-listenable for the entire 1980's. Clapton is a blues based musican, not a pop-rock single artist. so this cd/dvd is for me a happy return to what Clapton does best, and what gave him the nickname of "God" for this is in my opinion his best work since the herion, cocain, and alcohol fueled days of Derek And The Dominos.
per my last question of whether you thought Santa would bring you presents, or coal. if you were to recieve a present instead of coal what would it be???
