So 6 hours of band practice today...(it's rough being in one of the best pipe bands in the country). I'm quite tired right now, and I get to do it again tomorrow!

I'm tired and bored, and want to be cuddling and fooling around with someone right now. frown

Work sucks, but at least I only have to deal with it for two more months until I go to school at Boston University. Another upcoming event that helps me pass some time is that I'm going to be modelling for some portfolio work for Vincente Chinor (he's a designer that primarily works on evening and formalwear) and possibly doing a show for his next...

I love the site! Thanx so much for the link.
glamerdork:
heteroflexible is such a great word.

What are you going to majoring at @ BU? I've got two friends up there... I might go visit them sometime next year.

Insurance claims....esimates (a grand not including replacing or installing the cd player). Lots of fun all around. Work is blah.

I would commit a number of small crimes to be able to sleep in and not go to work tomorrow.

Weehee. frown

So today I got my car broken into. Then it took several hours for the police to be able to take a report...it was a pretty shitty afternoon.
Tomorrow I get to go to various body shops and things and get prices and make insurance claims and such.
Woohoo... frown

Ya but park illegally in Berea and they'll have your car towed in less than 30 seconds
mnov:
Which regatta? Yes, had my car towed there a few times. Actually I went to BW so I had plenty of opportunities to get in trouble. Do you go to school there or just live there?

So right now I'm lightly drunk. (Joy and 5 points for Bad Apfel...a nifty little high proof German Apfel schnapps). Last night's entry met with utter failure as none of those fine people on my friends list felt compelled to leave ay entries.
I'll soldier on.
I'm brave like that.
Now, my charge to you, oh faithful readers, is to tell me your best drinking...

Listening to Lords of Acid, not wanting to go to work tomorrow, and generally feeling meh-fleh.
Stuff.
Yeah.
I'm exciting tonight.

Tell me something interesting.

We rock.
Last year the Windsor Police Pipe Band was undefeated in North America and took 5th place overall at the World Pipe Band Championships. They're technically fantastic. They don't make mistakes. They have been and are the band to beat in Grade II competition.
We beat them.
Your very own local Cleveland-based North Coast Pipe Band came in 1st place today at the Alma...

Aside from my computer, I have X-box, GameCube and PS2 systems (as well as some older fossils). I also own Gameboy Advance, but the games are so difficult to play for extended periods of time.

Congrats on beating your rival pipe band. A good accomplishment!

Well tomorrow at 4 I'm going to be leaving work and driving to Mt. Pleasant Michigan for my very first highland games ever with the North Coast Pipe Band. I'm excited, and we should kick ass.

Wish me luck. eeek
_sarah_:
Oh my GOD! I wish I had a car. I'd watch you. Mt. Pleasant is only a couple hours from me, and I LOVE Highland Games and pipe bands.
crazygrrl:
Good Luck!!!!

Yesterday was the first time that I've played my pipes in two weeks (since slicing my thumb cutting watermelon...). It went pretty well aside from some twinges and soreness. Next week is the band's first competition of the year. I'm getting psyched.

Big news of the day is that I finally heard back from Boston University....

I am so accepted. Now I just have to...

That rocks, man.
It's really good for you, and I think you shoot do everything you can to follow your dreams.

Although it would suck to lose you to Boston. Who would I play 40k with?

I caught the Covenant show in Lakewood last night. It was asolutey fantastic. I've seen them before, but this was certainly the best show I've caught.
There is just something about a band that has stage presence and conveys to the audience that they love their music and enjoy performing it for you. There is a certain sincerity when they said thanks for coming out...

I haven't seen Willow for such a long time that I didn't realize I was taking one of the characters' names. Sorcha is Sarah in Irish dialect. Once I started using it on SG, everyone asked about Sorcha from "Willow". smile
