Well, I haven't been updating much in the last few days because my weekend illness decided to linger. That and the fact that after clubbing on Monday and Wednesday I stayed up until all hours talking to people.
Wednesday was pretty cool. I lent gumbercules some Hungry Lucy cds, so I can start requesting them.
There was a Chartreuse promotion...odd in that it's a reasonably expensive drink and the fact that I've never seen any advertising of any kind for it in the US. I ended up having two free shots, getting the glass from one, and scoring a violently green t-shirt. The set was quite good and I danced a lot as well.
Today was not nearly so much a party. Strio is leaving for Florida in a few days and tonight was his going away party. Unfortunately I was held up and so missed the dinner portion, but did get to hang out for at least a little while. I'll miss him and I hope that he makes it back up for a visit soon.

uk- three weeks in edinburgh in college, with daytrips to glasgow and the highlands. a week in london two years ago.
my time in london was a mixed experience, but edinburgh was the best 3 weeks of my life. i'm afraid to go back there, because the memories are so beautiful that i don't know what i would do if it wasn't as equally good.
