Purple's good. Blue sometimes fades and kinda gets all silvery, in my experience. The key now that you've bleached it is you can play Musical Hair Colors. Who says you have to stick with purple?

That was one of the least pleasant travel experiences I've had. Not bad, just very unpleasant. Crappy weather, hours of delays before flying in to Boston, crying children, a good bit of turbulence, and a landing that started with a few bounces. Then waiting forever for the T, and trudging through about two inches of snow and a quarter inch of water while carrying luggage....
