Look, Im a friend of myself, how funny is that?
so this is day 8 that ive been off work, between surgery, and the fucking snow storm last week, Im doing great, going a bit stir crazy, but my cats are loving it..
So yesterday, they turned my free cable off, which sucks, cause now all I have is antenna tv, and so, Im stuck with things like soap operas, and Jerry springer, which is as bad as a local chatroom.
So as for Jerry Springer, I was watching a bit of his stupid show yesterday, and it was on people stealing other peoples lovers, and it hit again, how cruel we are as a society.
The audience members were berating the people on stage, and making fun of them, and it was pretty fucked up, I mean, although these people got up there, and aired their lives on national tv, it was still saddening to see that even though these people need the atttention so bad that they would lwer themselves to that level, the attention that they were getting was very negative, and Im sure didnt do a fucking thing for their self esteem
On a different note though, I have 2 cats, and recently got them fixed, well both of them reversed roles, the one that was the attention hog, became the reclusee on, and the one that was the recluse, is the attention hog...LOL So im sitting here, petting her, and she has a smile on her face..Sometimes the little things in life, make such a difference...
